This is not a good service if you want to build an entire website together, don't want to take notes and learn how to achieve the things you want to achieve, or if you want to sit and watch me do it for you. We're in this one together.

Bring your list of questions, things you need to learn, things the marketing person said you should know how to do, your patience, your blue light glasses, a cup of water, and maybe your cat. Just bring everything and I will help you sort it out. But remember, we only have two hours.

Yes! You can absolutely book multiple sessions - this can be done anytime. We can get a lot accomplished with two hours, but there are times when I’ll support people with additional sessions. It’s really up to you and what you think you need or will benefit from the best.
An example of a time when someone booked two sessions: A Wordpress designer who was unfamiliar with Squarespace and wanted some hand holding through learning about how to use the editor and move things around. After the first session, they realized they could probably get their client’s design about 85% there but booked another session for design support and suggestions on how to improve what they’d created. For this designer it was worth it to invest twice.

This service is for anyone who needs a scratch built and custom designed website, a complete website and/or branding overhaul or redesign, or anyone looking to get their foot in the door with a custom built website template.

My design process is broken down into three phases. How much time we spend at each phase depends on our starting point and what your project requires.
Phase One - Onboarding: All of our housekeeping tasks get done first - collecting login information and existing design assets for your brand. A planning session and moodboard are also prepared during this first phase.
Phase Two - Draft + Editing: After we’ve decided on a design direction for your project, a lo-fi mockup is prepared and eventually approved after editing.
Phase Three - Build Out: When the editing is done and design is fully approved I move onto building on platform.
Phase Four - Launch + Training: Once the site is completed, we will walk through it together, tie up any loose ends and make sure everything is working and clicking through to where it needs to go. There is an optional training session that can be scheduled at a later date if you are interested in learning how to maintain your website on your own post launch.

Bring whatever you have! If you have an existing website - share your URL. If you have a brand already, you can bring your design assets and photography with you. If you have absolutely nothing, that’s okay - we’ll create what you need.

Every project requires a different quote. Pricing for a one page website begins at $2k, but the majority of my clients are in the $4k-$8k+ range. This service is development only for Squarespace or Showit. This service is exclusively provided to web designers or boutique 2-3 person agencies. Absolutely no Wordpress projects will be taken and Shopify sites are considered on a case by case basis as my skills are present but limited on Shopify.

While I’m excited about design and development, this service is for DEVELOPMENT ONLY. I will not be providing outside support in the way of design suggestions, project management, or client management.
If you are planning on being out of town, attending an event, or otherwise not planning on managing the project you’re asking me to develop, DO have an additional person available on your team to help with chatting with your client. I will be laser focused on development.
Essentially, when you book this, your design should be completely client approved and ready to be built out. The development should be the only missing piece. This keeps the process short and quick which is the purpose of booking when you’re on a time crunch.

Here’s a short list of what I need to be able to jump in right away and get started:
Access to ALL branding and photography used in your design.
All design assets within your design must be exported and organized by page.
Access to yours or your client’s Squarespace/Showit account.
I need you to be available via Voxer, DM, or email for support in case I have a question or need help with anything, in real time.

No! When it comes to privacy, I not only want nothing to do with your client, but I also don’t want you to share my information with them either. I am supporting you with development, not managing your client.
Let’s think of this as a ghostwriter kind of connection - I really want to do the work but I do not need the credit on the front end and would prefer your client remains blind to the fact that I am working on their website. If you choose to share that you’re having another developer built their website for you, that is totally up to you - but I have no interested in coming into contact with your client and I expect not to hear from them either.

Are you a design or a developer? Which platforms do you design on?
I’m both! I do it all. I’m a full stack web developer (I actually have two stacks MEAN/MERN) and I’m also a Squarespace expert. I design and develop on Squarespace predominately, but other platforms I have experience with include Showit, Kajabi, and some limited knowledge of Shopify.
I’m not familiar with design. What if I don’t know what I want?
If you have absolutely no idea what kind of a website you want or need, that’s OK! It’s important to remember that your website is designed for your clients, not for you. We will do market research on what other websites in your industry look like before getting started and I will make sure you have a unique design that helps you stand out.
I don’t have photography, can you curate it for me?
While I am HAPPY to curate stock photography for your website, it is my strongest recommendation to invest in a professional photoshoot for your business, products, or team headshots for your website. High quality, high resolution, relevant imagery is of the utmost importance when building a website. I can also connect you with photographers in your area if you are having difficulty finding someone with a studio or who could come into your business and do this for you!
I have an exact launch date in mind, how long does this take?
The design and development process can take 1-12 weeks. This depends on when you reach out to me, the size of your project, and how prepared you are when we start. I will set out a timeline for your project and we’ll discuss what our game plan is before we get started so you’ll always know exactly when things are due or need to be done by.
I need help with other things like a CRM and email, can you help me?
Absolutely - if you are in need of HoneyBook assistance for your CRM, I can 100% help you with setting this up, as well as Flodesk for emails. I have experience with a wide array of third party software integrations and I’d love to go through your current systems setup and help you make informed decisions.
I designed my logo in Canva is that cool?
Oooof… Canva is sometimes just the place you have to go to when you’re getting started, but I would HIGHLY SUGGEST paying for a professionally designed logo suite and brand. I can do this for you in house, or if you know of a branding designer that will create something for you, feel free to bring your own. If you love your Canva logo idea but want it touched up professionally, we can talk about that too!
Are there payment plans? Do you offer a discount if I pay in full?
Payment plans are offered if and when they are needed! My policy is 50% down to start with the rest due midway. If you would like to pay in full, I will offer a 10% discount. If you need an extended payment plan option to make things work - let’s talk about it and work something out that is comfortable for both of us! Contact me via email for specific questions.
Who helps manage the website once it’s launched?
You will feel confident enough to go into Squarespace and make changes to your own website without my assistance post launch. I offer 90min trainings as a part of your hand off! Website maintenance is provided to you for 30 days post launch at no additional cost. If you are interested in ongoing support, you can work with me on an hourly basis.
Can I add more pages down the road or is this a trap?
You can 100% add whatever you need to your website once it’s done. When it’s out of my hands and into yours, you get to take the wheel. I would love it if you asked me to help you with future changes, but you certainly don’t have to stick around… I’ll try not to judge… or cry… (please don’t leave me!)
