How I Started My Design + Development Business

When I quit my job, the first person I think I shared that news with was my coach. We had only been working together and getting to know each other for about 3 months when she asked me to think about what would happen if I quit my job. I told her I honestly hadn’t given it much thought but that right away it felt nice.

Hiring a coach was the best investment I made in my business.

I didn’t go to college because I didn’t see the point. You couldn’t convince 18 years old Rae that there was a better thing to learn than a new language and I didn’t need college to achieve that. A coding immersive got me to my goal much faster than a traditional computer science degree.
